About Strapped In Car Seat Safety

Brett Solomon, Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, has always had a fascination with properly adding aftermarket equipment to automobiles. This landed his first job at CarSound & Performance Magazine. Today, he is the Editor of In Car Tech Magazine and Dealerscope Magazine that focuses on safety in aftermarket equipment, as well as the Head Vehicle Editor for North American Publishing Company publications. His knowledge of correctly fitting all types of equipment into automobiles after they leave the factory (including car seats)  allows him to be a consultant for a number of companies, both OEM and aftermarket.

He has attended numerous safety seminars and speaks regularly with engineers from Ford, General Motors, Chrysler/Fiat, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Mazda, Hyundai, Nissan, Honda, Porsche, Subaru, Jaguar/Land Rover, Mitsubushi, Volkswagen, Volvo, and Toyota.

He also covers OEM suppliers and has relationships with engineers from Bosch, Continental, Johnson Controls, Delphi, Meritor, Autoliv, Honeywell, Dupont Automotive, Visteon, Denso, and TRW. These are the guys and gals that make safety equipment and seatbelts!  Brett graduated from the University of Delaware Honors Program with a focus in Engineering.

He is also a proud daddy and loves to test the newest and latest safe seats with his daughter!
